We have a fantastic opportunity for a Framework Pursuit Coordinator to join our SPaTS3 Framework team within Consulting. This role will act as deputy to the Framework Manager, taking a lead role in pursuit planning, bid coordination, governance, opportunity tracking and day-to-day framework coordination.
The role
The Framework Pursuit Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the successful management and growth of the SPaTS3 Framework. Acting as deputy to the Framework Manager, the role will provide coordination and leadership across opportunity pursuit, bid planning, governance, assurance, framework intelligence and continuous improvement.
The role will provide proactive support to the Framework Manager and/or Framework Director, ensuring opportunities are well governed, bids are properly planned and managed, and framework activity is visible, compliant and aligned to business priorities.
The Framework Pursuit Coordinator will coordinate smaller and medium-complexity pursuits end to end and provide targeted support on larger strategic bids. They will help shape pursuit strategies, coordinate contributors, drive quality reviews, maintain governance discipline and support improvements that increase framework efficiency and win rates.
What you will be doing
Framework Leadership, Assurance and Reporting
- Act as deputy to the Framework Manager, providing trusted day-to-day leadership across framework activity.
- Maintain oversight of framework registers, trackers, call-offs, awards, pipeline activity and key milestones.
- Produce and assure regular framework performance, governance and management information reports.
- Ensure framework data is reliable, current, auditable and suitable for senior management decision-making.
- Support the Framework Manager in the management of the P&L
Governance and Coordination
- Coordinate and improve framework governance activities, meetings, actions and decision records.
- Lead bid governance processes, including opportunity qualification, pursuit strategy, bid panel preparation and approvals.
- Prepare clear governance packs and briefing material for senior stakeholders.
- Track key actions, decisions and follow-ups from governance forums, bid reviews and leadership discussions.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accessible and aligned to agreed framework and bid processes.
Information and Intelligence Support
- Act as a central point of reference for framework intelligence, opportunity pipeline information and bid status.
- Maintain forward-look trackers and CRM information to support early visibility of upcoming activity.
- Provide structured insight to support opportunity qualification, resourcing discussions and bid/no-bid recommendations.
Pursuit Coordination and Response Development
- Coordinate smaller and medium-complexity pursuits end to end, from tender review, planning and win theme development through to drafting, review, refinement and final submission.
- Provide targeted coordination support on larger strategic bids, including planning, content management, review logistics and submission readiness.
- Analyse tender requirements, evaluation methodologies and client drivers to support pursuit strategies that maximise scoring potential.
- Facilitate content planning workshops with bid leaders, technical specialists and subject matter experts to identify win themes, key messages and discriminators.
- Coordinate and quality assure responses throughout the pursuit lifecycle, ensuring consistency of style, quality, evidence, messaging and compliance.
- Champion excellence in written communication, ensuring submissions present a professional, persuasive and consistent voice.
Continuous Improvement and Framework Development
- Lead improvements to bid templates, bid tools, governance processes and framework ways of working.
- Capture and apply lessons learned, using client feedback, review comments and performance data to enhance future bid quality, consistency and win rates.
- Develop repeatable, high-quality approaches that improve framework efficiency, governance confidence and bidding effectiveness.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in a pursuit coordination, bid management, framework management, PMO, governance, assurance or project coordination role.
- Strong understanding of bid lifecycles, opportunity qualification, governance requirements and submission processes.
- Ability to coordinate pursuit activity, organise contributors and drive progress across multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to structure persuasive bid responses and tailor messaging to evaluation criteria.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders, bid teams, technical specialists and commercial colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, auditable records.
- Experience working in regulated, public-sector or compliance-led environments desirable.
- Formal bid, project management, PMO or coordination qualifications desirable but not essential.
